The Prado West Studio team, led by James Madden and Glen Gellatly, brings a combined 50 years of Architectural Design experience. Our designs encompass single-, two-, and three-story dwellings for diverse geographical locations and terrains, ranging from coastal bluffs to steep canyons, arid desert landscapes, and everything in between.

We are often hired in the pre-planning stage and are responsible for the creative and conceptual phases of a project. Our primary focus is on the details that will impact the day-to-day life of those who will utilize and occupy the structure.  View Designs

Glen Gellatly

Architectural Designer

Glen Gellatly was born near Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Orange County, California. He has built a successful career in architecture, working as a designer and project manager for prominent architectural firms led by George Bissell and Ed Lohrbach.

His portfolio spans private residences, commercial spaces, and public buildings throughout Southern California, with many of his projects receiving awards from local AIA chapters.

With this approach, Gellatly strives to deliver a final product that is not only functional and aesthetically pleasing but also a successful and satisfying outcome for both client and architect.
